As cars speed the lonely highway,
chasing fluid mirage along,
remains of hapless, litter road-sides;
as skid-marks swirl messages on the road...
Sun glitters off scattered glass pieces;
like stars twinkling from the ground.
Masking mysteries of the vanquished,
or warning alive with countless sparkling torch???
But mostly,
just wishing all …
... a safe drive home ... !!!
